Recap: Ricoh at the IV Public Health Science Conference
On May 11-12, Ricoh attended the IV Public Health Science Conference in conjunction with the Public Health Association in Ho Chi Minh City.
The challenge of digitalization in the healthcare industry
- Errors in data management: medical information systems cells are not tightly integrated with each other, data is scattered and asynchronous, and it is difficult to retrieve and make accurate decisions.
- The system is overloaded: Manual tasks, a lot of paperwork, as well as an increased number of patients make the system always overloaded, making it difficult to maximize the efficiency and capacity of the hospital.
- Ineffective exploitation of human resources: most health workers need to focus on their expertise, but due to fragmented and inconsistent digital transformation, human resources often lose focus due to the requirement of continuous training and learning in the process of digitizing the health sector.
Ricoh Vietnam's comprehensive digital transformation platform
The combination of document and data management technology with AI technology and automatic identification by barcode and RFID will bring many benefits to the health industry: Simplify the process, reduce the load on the current health system, improve the accuracy of treatment and patient monitoring, help improve the operational efficiency of health facilities, thereby benefiting patients and the health system in general.
